WARRIOR LAX SPLASH 2009

JUNE 5-7, 2009

"10th Anniversary"

"1999-2009"

Lax Splash venues are all smoke free and pet free venues.  We appreciate your respect for our fans and players!

Carroll Manor Lacrosse and Aloha Tournaments welcome you to Warrior Lax Splash 2009.  Warrior Lax Splash was created in 1999 as a year end celebration for local and, not so local, recreation lacrosse teams.  Over the years it has hosted over 50,000 players and has served as Carroll Manor Recreation Council's #1 fundraiser. We are pleased to have you a part of Warrior Lax Splash 2009!

Warrior Lax Splash is a competitive Lacrosse Tournament for BOYS & GIRLS ages 7/8 through 13/14. There will be an A & B Division for each age group, as well as a C division for 9/10 and 11/12. (See Team & Coach Information for age group breakdown). Rules & Referees will be the same as used in MYLA, unless otherwise noted. All divisions will be played as established by the MYLA, with the exception of the 7/8 A boys who will play with ten players to a side. 7/8 B boys will play seven players to a side.

No player may be rostered, or compete, for more than one team in the tournament.

No HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS (Fresh/Soph, JV or Varsity) are allowed to compete in Lax Splash.  Any team with High School players will forfeit all games in the tournament!

Please register your team in the most appropriate division!!!  That does not mean placing your team in a division where they will win easiest.  It means placing them where each game will be a great, competive experience for both teams.

MYLA CHAMPIONSHIPS - Each year the MYLA championships are held on the same weekend as Lax Splash.  We understand that no team can predict in April if they will be in the championship game at the end of the season.  However, we ask that teams that do make it to the MYLA championship game appreciate what it might be like for a team to receive one or two forfeit wins in the tournament.  Lax Splash is about playing!  If you think your team will definitely be in the MYLA championship game, please don't sign up for Lax Splash. If by some good fortune you didn't anticipate ending up in the MYLA championship game but do end up there, please make every effort to play all Lax Splash games that do not conflict with your MYLA game. In addition, if you are not going to show for a game, please take the time to contact the coach of the other team so they only have to send one representative to the field to make sure the forfeit is recorded properly -  not an entire team.  Under no circumstances will a team that drops for an MYLA conflict receive a refund.  Don't bother asking.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Lax Splash 2009 will be utilizing fields throughout northern Baltimore County and Harford County.  The main hub of the tournament will be the Timonium Fairground infield fields.  The infield will be filled with constant lacrosse action, along with food, vendors, the Warrrior LaxZone and the Lax Splash Gear Tent.

Hydes Road will serve as a secondary hub and will be filled with concessions, music, vendors and your favorite Lax Splash paraphernalia.
